Step by Step Eye Make Up Tips - Part 2

So you're looking for drama? Then do a smoky eye. This is often the make up style of choice for women out to party but remember that there is a place for such dramatic look and it isn’t for your office or for school. To start, use an eye shadow throughout your eyelids. Use a nice smoky gray color if you wear cooler tones or choose a dark brown if you prefer it warmer. Apply it to your eyelids blending inward. Next, apply a color about a shade darker than the first.

Using an angled brush, apply it to the base of your eyelids and then blend. Lastly, using the same dark shade, apply it to the crease of your eyes and then use a blender brush to blend it on. The basic idea here is keeping the majority of your eye color focused on your eye lids. Great eye make up tips can only be done properly with the use of the proper tools. In this case you would need an eye liner brush, an angled eye shadow brush as well as a blender brush. It also helps a lot if you have a good quality eye make up as that could make the application as well as the blending much easier. There are many great brands to choose from and more often than not you can give them a test run at the beauty counter. See which ones have better texture, better color and which one is the easiest to use and blend. This would help you learn better as well as make it easier for you to experiment with blending eye shadows.
