Putting on too much powder can actually get your face back to being shiny faster than you can say "I do." The epitome of a blushing bride is one with actual, natural blushing cheeks. But the redness of a pinch can only last for so long. A great wedding day makeup tip is to use peach colored blush or better yet use a cheek tint. Cheek tint create a more natural looking blush. For your eyes, keep in mind to use only neutral colors. Make sure that they compliment the rest of your face. To help create a "bright eyed look" use a white or other light colored eye shadow. Your best bets, besides using white is to use bone colored shades. You can also use some glitter or shimmer powder but don’t use too much lest you want to look like you’re a shiny disco ball in your wedding pictures. Use a decent amount of this shimmer to highlight you brow bones as well as your cheek bones. But of course, do a photo test just to see how much you can put on before looking like a Christmas ornament. Another great wedding day makeup tip is the use of mascara and eye liner as finishing touches for the eyes. These two would give your eyes more depth and definition. Remember to use waterproof mascara and eyeliner as we both know you will be shedding tears on your big day. For your lips, again, keep the color consistent with the rest of your face. Make sure that it is not pale colored as you don’t want to look like you're about to faint in the wedding photos. A nice rouge color would be good for this as well as some nice cherry reds but don’t go overboard. Putting on lip gloss on top of your lip color would make sure that it lasts long or at least till that "kiss". Lip gloss would also add that extra bit of sheen to your lips so as not to look too matted. Using lip liner would make sure that your lip color stays put.
